We are seeking an asset manager with extensive financial analysis skills and technical skills to support our Northern Europe Real Estate Asset Management function. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing direct asset management and asset management oversight (with external asset managers) of real estate assets. The position will sit in the Northern Europe Asset Management team.
Responsibilities
- Create, propose, evaluate and perform asset management strategies
- Follow renovation and Refurbishment projects directly and/or oversight external asset managers/developers
- Provide thoughtful colour and commentary regarding the performance of real estate investments and key profit/loss drivers
- Evaluate various Real Estate using firm self-developed models and tools (e.g. Argus)
- Create, maintain, and present detailed information with respect to profit/loss, rate of return, cash flow, and performance
- Ensure the flow of data is accurate and correct
- Multilingual with fluency in English and German (or any other 2nd European language).
- Strong academic background
- 2-3 years’ experience in Real Estate with focus on renovation, refurbishments and full development projects with financial analysis component
- Solid analytical/logical mind-set and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (clear, concise, and confident) with the ability to manage internal and external relationships
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Argus/Yardi
- Able to work under tight time constraints and extended hours as required
