We are seeking a dynamic Head of People & Culture, a pivotal role with primary responsibility for creating and delivering an engaging and seamless employee experience at IONOS. This role represents our commitment to not only fostering a vibrant work culture, but also leading transformational change management initiatives that align with our business strategies. A key part of this role is to lead internal communications, conveying messages that resonate with our values and inspire our employees, fostering a sense of unity and excitement to achieve our collective goals.

Reporting to the COO and as a key member of the leadership team, the Head of People & Culture will play a critical role in shaping a nurturing work environment and culture. This role is instrumental in ensuring that we have the right talent that is engaged and motivated to deliver outstanding results for our clients. The Head of People & Culture will be at the helm of the overall people strategy for the IONOS Group, leading bold and inclusive people strategies that align with our business vision. This role encompasses a holistic responsibility for the end-to-end employee journey, involving a blend of competencies such as business partnering, talent acquisition and talent development.

Purpose of this role:

  • Lead and inspire an international team of People Consultants, Learning and Development, and Talent Acquisition professionals. Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Innovatively enhance the employee brand both internally and externally, positioning the company as an employer of choice and a great place to work.
  • Develop mechanisms to evaluate the impact and success of the people strategy, creating a roadmap that supports IONOS’ vibrant culture.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders across the HR function to identify strengths and opportunities throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Lead and develop a leadership strategy to enhance leadership capabilities that embody and model IONOS business principles and culture.
  • Lead the development of our employer brand to enhance IONOS’ reputation as an employer of choice.
  • Strategize workforce planning to identify current and future capabilities, develop robust talent and succession management plans, and support career development and talent retention.
  • Provide insightful management information and reporting on all aspects of the people experience lifecycle as required.

Qualifications

The Head of People & Culture will bring a rich background of experience in various facets of HR, including talent acquisition, international relations, and a deep understanding of HR tools and IT systems that streamline and enhance organizational processes. Your role will be instrumental in fostering a vibrant and inclusive workplace culture, and you will embody the following attributes:

  • Expertise in creating a unique employer brand: Demonstrated ability to create an employer brand that resonates with our culture and attracts the right talent.
  • Change Leadership: Ability to foster an adaptable and forward-thinking culture by embracing and leading change.
  • Results-oriented and Self-motivated: A proven track record of being results-oriented, demonstrating self-motivation and the ability to drive initiatives to completion.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: A customer-centric approach, coupled with a passion for people and culture, with the goal of improving the employee experience at every touchpoint.
  • Strategic Thinking and Planning: Demonstrated experience in strategic thinking, planning and analysis, with the ability to develop bold, comprehensive and ambiguous solutions to organizational challenges.
  • HR Tools and IT Systems Experience: Proficiency in the use of HR tools and IT systems to improve organizational efficiency, with a knack for introducing innovative solutions that streamline HR processes.
  • Proven track record in people strategy: A proven track record of developing people strategies and implementing action plans, with knowledge of current advances in people and culture transformation.
